Keeping you connected.
Unplug the D Mode CT base unit from the power source (and remove the batteries). Check to make sure that the SIM card has been installed correctly. (Refer to Page 1 and 2 in the User’s Guide). If the SIM card is installed correctly, then reinstall the power to the base and you should see the CEL indicator on the base display. If not, reinstall the SIM and then reconnect the power to the base unit. IMPORTANT! THE POWER MUST BE DISCONNECTED WHEN INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE SIM CARD AND THAT INCLUDES REMOVAL OF BATTERIES.
- First, check the wireless handset to make sure the battery is charged. The power indicator icon is located on the upper right corner of the LCD which shows how much battery life remains. Place the handset on the charger unit if the battery is low.
- If the wireless handset doesn’t show HANDSET-1 (or 2,3,4 if more than one handset is used) or HANDSET-1 IS DEREGISTERED on the LCD, then the handset needs to be re-registered with the base unit. Please refer to page 13 of the User Guide.
On the side of the corded handset, move the selector switch from L to M or M to H during a call. H(igh) is the loudest setting. See Page 14 of the User Guide.
Press the middle UP and DOWN scroll buttons in the center of the base unit labeled CID/VOL to adjust the volume during a call. See Page 14 of the User Guide.
To increase or decrease the volume on the wireless handset, press the middle UP and DOWN scroll buttons on the handset during a call. See Page 15 of the User Guide.
If there is no landline phone connected, then you can set the D Mode CT to cellular only. To do this press MENU, then scroll to SETUP and press SELECT. Then, scroll to CELLULAR ONLY and press SELECT. Scroll to ON then press SELECT. A tone will confirm the choice. See Page 35 of the User Guide.
Relocate the D Mode CT base unit to a location with the strongest signal, using the signal meter as described on page 5 of the User Guide.
The Caller ID log holds up to 50 entries. To view the calls in the Caller ID log, simply press the middle DOWN button for most recent and the middle UP button for the oldest calls. See Page 29 of the User Guide.
First, check to make sure that the landline is securely connected. If this does not solve the problem, then check to make sure that the D Mode CT is in the Cellular Only mode. To check and change this option press MENU, scroll to SETUP and press SELECT. Next, scroll to CELLULAR ONLY and press SELECT. If it is ON then scroll to OFF and press SELECT. Then, reinstall the landline. A tone confirms the choice and the SETUP menu appears.
